Family Court Judge Issues Warrant For Bobby Brown After He Fails To Show Up

Singer Bobby Brown has made more trouble for himself after a Massachusetts judge issued an arrest warrant when he failed to show up at court.

Brown, 38, was supposed to appear at a hearing to answer charges that he's fallen behind on his child-support payments to the tune of $11,000. Instead, Brown was a no-show at Canton Family Court, forcing Judge Paula Carey to have police go find him.

Judge Carey declares, "If he comes into the state of Massachusetts, he will be arrested."

"Whether or not he is going through a divorce does not negate the fact that he still owes child support relative to his two children that he had prior to his marriage."

Brown's attorney Phaedra Parks explains, "It is just a very difficult time for him, as you can well imagine."

"The media is very aware of this very public divorce [from singer Whitney Houston] that is going on right now and it's unfortunate that we find ourselves back in Boston on this matter."

According to E! News, it's the second warrant issued in Brown's name in just over a year stemming from his ongoing failure to pony up financial support for his two teenaged children, La Princia and Bobby Jr., with ex-girlfriend Kim Ward.
