Flavor Flav expecting 7th Child and it's not with Deelishis

Although Flavor Flav selected contestant Deelishis (real name: London Charles) as the winner of his heart on the Oct. 15 second-season finale of his VH1 show Flavor of Love, he is expecting a child – his seventh – with another woman, his manager confirms to PEOPLE.

"Flav has confirmed this and Deelishis is aware that after things did not work with the season-one winner (Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander), Flav conceived a child with a woman he had been dating on and off," the rapper's manager says. The baby is due Jan. 2.

The manager declined to provide additional details, explaining that the reality star's private life is just that, private. He did say, however, that Flav does not know the sex of the baby.

Flav first broke the news on radio's Tom Joyner Morning Show. He still loves Deelishis, he said, and the baby's mother is not "a Flavor of Love lady."

Reacting to the news that Flav was about to have his seventh child, Joyner said, "Man, you are running out of flavors."

Replied Flav: "I want 10 (children). And one thing I will never do is deny any of my kids."

Asked if he would marry the woman, whom Flav described only as a "shorty in Las Vegas," the rapper said, "I'm not marrying anybody. I'm too young to die."

He did insist, however, that his relationship with Deelishis, who has a daughter named Jasmine, isn't over, and said he recently met her family in Detroit and they loved him, despite his reputation as "the black Hugh Hefner."
