All eyes were on Cheryl Cole as she strolled the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival today. We can't imagine why, can you?
The British singer has been confirmed as a judge on the U.S. version of "The X Factor," which will debut in September. The Girls Aloud star has appeared on the panel of the U.K. show for the last three years alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue.
The new show has already started filming, and her strong accent reportedly left some contestants scratching their heads. Chezza - as they call her across the pond - hails from Newcastle upon Tyne in the northeast region of England, where the locals are nicknamed "Geordies" for their distinct dialect.
