Lady GaGa and Madonna are distantly related

Ever since hitting big, Lady GaGa has often been compared to fellow pop queen Madonna. Sometimes she’s even been blamed for copying her style, her behavior, her image, and her songs. Despite all this media controversy, the two singers are known to be huge fans of each other. The new reports say, they can now also call each other cousins as they’re distantly related.
Celebrity genealogist Chris Child claims Madonna and Lady GaGa are “ninth cousins once removed” as they have common ancestors that moved from France to Quebec, Canada, in 1600s.
"When I saw that Lady Gaga had French Canadian ancestry, I thought there might be something there,” the scientist said"
Even before this new fact was discovered, Lady GaGa had said she and Madge had a lot in common being fearless Italian-American women who started out in the New York underground scene and became famous after dying their hair blonde.
Besides, both singers have a very tense relationship with the Catholic Church. Madonna used to enrage the Church with her music videos and public image in 80s and 90s, Lady GaGa is now on the Church’s black list because of her music video for ‘Judas.’
Rebellion must definitely run in this big Italian family!
