Pippa Middleton’s Sex Tape Offer Preventing Her From Lady-in-Waiting Position?

Public fascination in Pippa Middleton skyrocketed so much after the royal wedding between her sister Kate Middleton and Prince William that the 27-year-old party planner was offered a $5 million sex tape deal with Vivid Entertainment. Now a recent report suggests Vivid’s desire to feature Pippa in one of their adult films may hurt Pippa’s chances of becoming her sister’s — the newly crowned Duchess of Cambridge — lady-in-waiting.
The royal tradition of a lady-in-waiting refers to a female personal assistant to a person of nobility, a queen, princess, duchess etc. Often the appointed lady-in-waiting is a from a family that is highly respected in society.

After the royal nuptials, it was rumored that Kate would choose her sister Pippa to be her lady-in-waiting, but no formal announcements have been made yet.
A recent report from Ruth Houston at Examiner.com suggests that Kate may be holding off on appointing her sister with the title because of “the mere association of Pippa’s name with a major porn producer,” like Vivid.
Vivid has also been associated with sex tape offers to celebrity mistresses, most notably a $5 million offer they made to Rielle Hunter — politician John Edwards‘ mistress with who he has a daughter Quinn.
“By making Pippa a multi-million dollar offer that topped the offers made to most of the celebrity mistresses starring in their adult videos, Vivid was indirectly classifying Pippa Middleton with women known to have been sex partners with high profile cheating men,” the report on Examiner.com states.
But it seems doubtful that Kate would pay close attention to the media’s interest in Pippa and it’s not Pippa’s fault that Vivid publicly reached out to her.
We have a feeling Pippa’s lady-in-waiting position is not in jeopardy.
In other Pippa news, “Her Royal Hotness” was spotted out and about in London today shopping and having lunch with friends.
It’s great to see her going about her normal business, despite all the paparazzi and media attention.
She enjoyed the sunny afternoon in light denim jeans and a denim sleeveless top and couldn’t help flashing her pearly whites for the camera!
