Randy 'Macho Man' Savage Dies In Florida Car Accident

Former WWF (World Wrestling Federation, now the WWE) & WCW (World Championship Wrestling) superstar Randy "Macho Man" Savage has died in a car accident in Tampa, Florida. TMZ.com reports that the legendary wrestler had a heart attack while driving and lost control of his car.

TMZ spoke to Lanny Poffo, brother of Savage (born Randy Poffo) and also a former wrestler ("Leapin'" Lanny Poffo), who confirmed reports.

Savage held 20 championship belts during his professional wrestling career; and became known as the spokesman for Slim Jim beef jerky after his wrestling days ended. He made several cameos in television shows such as Walker, Texas Ranger and Baywatch. He also had a cameo - as wrestler 'Bonesaw McGraw' in Spider-Man.

Savage was 58 and is survived by his wife of one year, Lynn. He was previously married to his WWF manager Elizabeth Hulette, aka "Miss Elizabeth," who passed away in 2003.
